    Yes thats exactly what im asking. So it will not self siphon after the aux pump stops...or at least if everything works as it should it wont self siphon. I have a 20gal steel barrel i plan on useing. Stands about 4ft tall sitting on the ground.

    Can the tank in these be higher than the fuel tank in the unit with out siphoning the whole aux tank onto the ground?

    The threaded rod part of the hold down can be made from 1/4in threaded rod. I put 300cca lawn mower batterys in a 803a and it started fine in 10* ny weather.

    Remember i had the same thing happen to me x2..i won two generators and drove 4.5hrs one way. Im not calling any numbers. In the end if your just trying to make sure it dosnt happen to anyone else you most likely alreaty did what wad needed. Your fighting the government here and a not so well...

    Dav5 i can tell you that i didnt take or see any tan 803a. I was loaded at the nat guard base across from the gas alley gate on rt23. Nor did i see any parking areas where generators were that had gravel. In the end it didnt really matter to me. It does suck that i spent so much time there...

    Same think happened to me. Drove 4.5hrs for a 44hr and 94 hr units. Tryed to pawn off a 500+ and 200+hr. I got there at 9:30 for a 10am appointment, didnt get out of there until 12:15 and it only took me 5min to strap them down. I think part of the issue is the government moves these things...

    Happened to you too? I picked up monday. Won a 802 and 803 with 44 and 94 hrs. Tryed to stick me with a 549hr and 266hr unit missing fuel pump and who knows what else.

    I have been reading on here for a while and remember you saying that. 50 percent is quite the amount of extra life. I think il just use rotella t3 and change it every other year or so. Thanks for the info

    Thsts the TM for the mep802a? 10k hrs seams like alot of hours before an oil change.
