Are you getting 24v at the small wire all by its self on the starter when the switch is held in start? If not are you getting 24v out of the switch when in start? Have you tested the voltage at the large lugs on the starter?

I have 230ish cca lawn mower batterys in my 802a, they work fine. Even started a 803a one 6* morning just fine after pre heating for about 30sec.

If your cranking the engine and have fuel at the soft lines i would guess your metering pin isnt in the rack correctly. Its a complete pain in the ass. I spent 10hrs one day messing with a 802a. When you put the pump in( before u bolt it down) move the rack and see if the pump trys to turn...

It appears as if im loosing the voltage over CR1. I even jumped it out quick and the fuel pump turns on fine. Any one know the specs on this diode?

No power at TP D on the diag plug. I have 24v at terminal 3 on the DCrank switch until i turn the master switch from the off position.

All 3 of those plugs look to be fine. Sprayed some contact cleaner in them also.

I tryed taking them off. Im not built to work in such tight areas. Thats going to require alot of zip tie cutting and swearing.

So my "just add fuel" genset didnt work. I now have no power to the pannel. I followed Guys instructions in the first post here and fuse1 and cb1, as well as the bat shunt. I get 24v at the master switch when its off, turn to run/prime and power to it and cb1 drops to 5v.

Since i have done my fuse mod i came across time delay fuses at my local home depot. No 3amp but im sure you can site to store ship it. No need to pay $30 a fuse. They had them for $13 for two.

Known fuel gauge that works with the 802/803 fuel sender. SW 284m https://m.summitracing.com/parts/SWW-284M Looks slightly different but works just fine and has a light.

All of you guys have sugestions on what you would do but none have had it happen. Its really not a big deal, a few hrs on a used generator thats made to last thousands. Since this post has started i have bought 3 more generators and they were the ones i bid on.

No we dont ground gutters. If your running this for testing purposes i wouldnt bother grounding it. If your really worried about it ground it to your house ground rod. Also i was having a similar problem with the main start switch not working after the gen set shut its self off. It would run...

Wait it wont start or it wont crank with the dead crank switch? The difference is huge.

Did you happen to check the actual temp against the gauge? My gauge reads quite a bit high. About 15-20*
