PNW-2013-Fifth Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Convoy & Campout

To be clear, I wasn't asking to shoot at his place, just curious if there were ranges/DNR shooting areas close.

PNW-2013-Fifth Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Convoy & Campout

Is there a decent place to shoot down there? I usually hit up the capitol forest pit.

    alternating corner markers?

I was reviewing the diagram of the parking/turn lamps, and it seems that the park lamps should be steady, even if the turn signal is on. However, on my m1009, my corner marking lamps alternate with the front turn signal when the parking lamps are on. I haven't seen any abnormal splices, but my...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Crude, but effective. I just may have to do this. I have a bunch of 5k-8k BTU portable units that look smaller than yours, for around the $100 mark around here.... add in a 3000W peak inverter for another $100, and I should be in business.

    Radio power bus

Near everything in the automotive industry runs on 12V, only exception is oddball commercial/industrial stuff and military. Keeping it 24V doesn't do anything practical, and in addition, would then require a converter to drop it to 12V, which are not 100% efficient. I have yet to hear a good...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

I stuck a scissor jack in the door, pushed most of it out, it was 10x worse before.

Artistic license.... Thinking of spray painting over the door one and putting it on the front quarter panel.

    M1009 Light Bar?

The Patriot and Liberty are not compatible with any other Edge products, they're 'edge' in name only. Do NOT get an edge 10000 bar unless you have the controller with it. They're B-link, a proprietary data network, the lightbar cannot be wired with just + and - wires. There are also a few rare...

    M1009 Light Bar?

The Edge refers to all models, but usually refers to the 9000. There is an edge 9000. 10000, 9m, 9 Ultra (9U) and freedom. All filters interchange except the 9u and freedom endcaps. All 400 series designed for the freedom and Ultra will work. You can use 9u/freedom linear led corner modules...

    M1009 Light Bar?

I'd go with either an Edge - modified, or a freedom. Freedom 400 series linear led modules (not corners) will fit in an edge frame, btw. So you can get an edge and upgrade as $$ allows.

    M1009 Light Bar?

The 9m/Freedom are NOT period correct, but then again, EDGEs never came with HIDs in them either, so.... whatever floats your boat :-p

    PNW Info Thread!

There is one person in particular that buys most if not all of the ammo cans, strictly so no one else can, so he sets the local market price on them. I've been looking at trailers, and trailers that, back east, would be lucky to get a bid on, are going for 1k$+ out here :( ..... :burn:

    M1009 Light Bar?

The most popular lightbar was the AeroDynic, as it was popular at the time the m1009/cucv was around. Later models got the Jetstream/Jetsonic, as they were more expensive with more features, they were rarer, in addition to coming in at a later time, Vs the AeroDynic which had been available for...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Permanently mounted the cans, added a third battery with continuous duty solenoid that's ignition switched (I can run equipment without vehicle running, without killing the starting battery, but still charges when the vehicle is on). I Finished installing/wiring the SS2000, the D700, the...
