We are planning to drive up on Thursday or Friday and tent camp for a couple days. If all goes well we will be bringing the 936A2 and a 101 or 105 trailer.
Some of the goodies I plan to bring.
Pelican Cases (many shapes and sizes 1600, 1610, 1660, im2400, im2600, and many more / let me know...
Finished up the rear portion of the lift, and the base for the center console. Below the center console will be the marine 35amp 24 to 12v convertor, along with a fuse block for 4 12v receptacles, the radio, and a handful of other misc electronics.
Slowly but surely...did a little more sheet metal this weekend, along with finishing floor. Made an access panel for getting to parking brake, and the hard top will still be removable.
Getting ready to fab mounts for the MRAP seats and locking center console. Looking forward to sitting on...
I had a couple hundred at the rally, and thankfully they all went home with someone else. I have about 800 left at my shop in tri-wall boxes, $4 each. Donating a few more to the Boy Scouts, but I'm pretty sure I won't be out anytime soon, LOL.
Haven't noticed anything yet, but temps dropped here, so I didn't play w/ it long. Will keep an eye on it though.
Records were left in this truck when I bought it, says it spent 4 years in Iraq before coming home, thought that was pretty awesome.
Got everything loaded up, should be there by noon tomorrow. Here is my final list of items I'm bringing. Crew cab isn't finished, cucv has a cracked head, and no plans to drive the 936a2, so I'll be in a Tacoma with a trailer full of pelican cases loaded w/ gear :)
200 Alice packs, large...
Took some time to round up a few parts. Thanks to White Owl and Flight Source on the parts. BIG thanks to Derrickl112 and 73m819 on all the advice and guidance. I'm sure you got dirty a few times crawling underneath that 936a2 of yours Derrick, couldn't have done it without you.
