Larger one is actually cheaper. Curt 15605 Class V Hitch IDC Heavy Duty Receiver But I'm w/ you, seems to almost be overkill, and w/ the smaller one no adapter needed. Dimensions are slightly different on them though, even though they claim they fit the same model trucks.

Only snapped a couple, but the recovery went well, not a hiccup other than needing a jump by GL and a little air in the tires. Highly recommend Mitch w/ GL @ Ft Gordon, super nice fellow. **No clue why images aren't showing up?

EUC cleared earlier this week! Roughly 2.5 weeks start to finish, not bad for my first. Recovery commences on Monday!

They actually built 2 of those, that one of course was destroyed. The other one is intact on display at the Air Museum @ Robins Air Force Base, GA.
