Anyone have the measurements of exactly where this vent gets screwed on. And measurements for the holes that get cut out?

Are the new levers direct swaps? Everything is compatible between old and new hookup?

Is the pic above actually just for soft doors? And the xdoors don't have the removable piece? Or is that just for the heavy armored doors?

Is there a part number for just the metal top portion of this strap for the doors? The open portion.

Is it a simple swap otherwise? One fits in place of the other just fine?

All good points but all the equipment, radios and military vehicles everyone owns on these forums aren't practical for everyday use, not typically anyways. My hmmwv is just a toy. I just want to make sure something I buy to bolt onto my toy doesn't get me in any trouble.

Is there a list anywhere that tells you what equipment is ok to buy and sell and what isn't? I'm interested in a rt-1439 and from what I read here it sounds ok to own one of these but where officially can I check?

Many of the engines have stickers that state they're exempt from emissions. Can't remember if they specifically state they're exempt from EPA standards.

Are all the snorkels the same or was there a different one for the armored trucks? Or is just the bracket unique on the armored trucks?

Did you use the factory size hole and grommet for the tcm hole you drilled in the tunnel? I'm trying to get part number on it and size of hole I need to drill.

I'm going for correct. Doing alodine on any bare patches, zinc chromate then carc. That's what the guys in the service with painting experience (hmmwv's and aviation) say is used. My misunderstanding is what alodine really does. Does it etch it or provide a primer coating? Or both?

I'll definitely use one of those on the smaller areas.

It was 6061 aluminum plate, 1/8" thick. Alodine 1201. So you end up leaving all the alodine residue on the metal then? A gentle rinse doesn't take any off, a little pressure on the water will and a wipe takes almost all the coloring off. Why is it necessary to let the residue stay on there...
