    M146 RV Conversion

There is a company in mid Florida that makes tanks to order, kinda pricey. They also have some common templates that are reasonable. Company is called dura-cast I think. Bought several tanks from them for busses. They are right on SR27.

    Unhappy Dogbone thingy

Always good to have a couple extra nuts around. Need to slip next door at work and get a tank cap to cut down I guess. :doghead:

    Deuce hard start

Have you replaced all fuel filters and primed them? Does the in tank pump work? Have you checked the rubber line in tank? Tell us what else you have done, that would help us diagnose.

    Airpack Compensator cup seal replacement

O-ring looks like the one between the air can and the cast housing. Don't remember a snap ring in mine, or that small cup seal.

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

Another thing would be to find out how long those tires sat flat, as that could do damage to the tires. Might think about replacing the two fronts. Just to be on the safe side.

Preamble to yet another WC brought back to life

Zout, looks almost like the reducer bushing on the deuce MC. Actually, it's NPT to flare I think?? Wouldn't have one of those around by chance? Just a thought.

Can "clearance lights" be used as turn signals/flashers?

Will do some checking, but some of the busses I work on have marker/turn lights on the sides of them. LED too, just don't know the voltage. Some have changed to 12VDC lighting since they went mostly LED, and installed EQs. The pigtails on said lights had 3 wires, ground, marker, and turn...

    need opinion... I'm stuck

Some weight on the rear would help a bunch. Nice looking bobber. Did you cut those tires, or have someone do them? Nice looking job.

HMMWV Insurance...what do you call the thing?

Try talking to an independent insurance agent, I have the deuce through Progressive, and they saved me a bunch from when I had State Farm.

    Adxavier06's Party Wagon/Weekend Cruiser

I have a vanner that I am going to mount on the back wall of my deuce under the passenger seat. Just three cables to the batt 24V +, batt -, and the center link between the batteries, which would be 12VDC.

    Adxavier06's Party Wagon/Weekend Cruiser

Just google battery equalizer, or look on some unnamed auction sites. The vanners have a diagram right on them if I remember correctly.

    Adxavier06's Party Wagon/Weekend Cruiser

Just thought I would give you the info, I work on busses for a living, and most are 24VDC, and have EQs to keep the batteries in line to run the 12VDC stuff. I have 11.00 Michelins on my deuce at present but am thinking of going the way you did. The 11.00s are getting hard to find.

    Adxavier06's Party Wagon/Weekend Cruiser

You can get a battery equalizer that will keep up with those kind of amperages, Vanner makes some, as well as some other companies. Also, Pioneer used to make truck speakers that were removable and sounded pretty good too. Just a thought. Nice looking rig too, might hafta look into getting some...

    Airpack Compensator cup seal replacement

Don't remember where I got my kit from, but even "4 sounds short, and I had both cup seals, they had different ID holes in them I think.

    Hello from Kalamazoo!

There is another member in Kzoo, goes by Heath_h49008, he has a deuce. Also knows someone in Mi. that has some for sale, try PMing Heath. You do realize that a deuce has a top speed of 55 maybe with 11.00X20s right, less with stock 9.00s? Just wondering how much you have read up on them. Not...

I'm sure it does not fold down, and Rayzer's trailer will NEVER see any bushes ..... of the trail riding variety.
