the VIN indicates, a 1976 W200. No way to tell from vin if it was civilian or military.
The gov't data tag on the dash would indicate any military designation.
All M880/M890 series trucks came with automatic transmissions and open differentials.

The M880 vin is no different than the civi ones. The vins were on the driver door & not the dash, vin also on gov't data plate on the middle lower portion of the dash, which would indicate it's gov't designation, if any. W24BE6S###### is a 1976 W200 (M880) vin.
1. I have 16" wheels from an older F250 with Firestone Destination MT 235/85R16's (32's) on my M884, had run 16x8 wagon wheels with 285/75R16's (33's) before that. Running original M880 wheels with 36" HUMVEE tires on my M880.

HOUSE BILL No. 5639
Which did not get vetoed, allows for vehicles titled as ORV only, to be titled as on road upon verification of the required on road equipment. assigned PA 680'18 with immediate effect. This can be used to get those ORV HUMVEE's road legal here.

The trucks I pulled PS boxes off of had a smaller wheel than the M880, it was different style also so I've kept the orignal wheel in the one I converted. You get used to it.
1 hr 45 minutes each way for me. Decent turnout this year with several unique vehicles, an hour or so into the ride I realized that I left my camera at home. M274A5 mule with 106 recoiless on it, beautiful. a variety of M37's, from stock museum quality to re-powered with a Detroit from a Gamma...
Sure turnout was light last year, but I was there for most of Saturday & will be again this year!
Jeff @ General Jim's doesn't put much effort to the web site, never really has. GLMVPA also misses the mark on promoting it's activities outside of its newsletter. Some stuff on its FB page.

There seems to be enough flex in the 'dome' which is just riveted to the windshield frame & rear box. I have never had a windshield crack in any of mine, now chunks of rust falling in my coffee cup? Well that's another story...
