    Fuel pump

You might look into an inline fuel pressure regulator. I have one on an old bobcat because it would push fuel past the float. Got mine at oriellys. Has a dial adjustent to set the pressure.

Congratulations. It is a rare opportunity to relive the past. Hopefully she will be up and running soon.

CUCV hot wire and steering lock

I had an 82 chevy swb with 33s on it and a dempco car dolly. It did not fit forward. Did not try backwards. Granted, the car haulers may be different sizes, don't know. If you have, or have anybody you can borrow from, a set of later model (88-98, or such) stock wheels and tires might help...

Here we go again , lol !

Well, I wouldn't call it ugly. But, then again, I guess I have a soft spot for the rough ones and oddballs. Welcome back.

    Vehicle markings

Thanks. I was doing a "quick and dirty" rattle can job for now so that it was one color at least. Used some posterboard. I intend to redo it the right way next summer. I'll probably hit you up when it's time for that.

usage of combination budd impact socket

I have one of those I used to pull my rear duals when rebuilding the wheel cylinder. It seemed to hold up fine with no issues/damage for me. And that's with my 340 pound butt cranking on a 4-5 foot cheater pipe while doing it. The first go round you pull the hex nuts off, allowing the outer...

    Vehicle markings

Thanks everyone for the help. Here's what I found. TB 746-93-1 is from 1964. It has the markings on the hood and white stars on the hood and doors, etc. TB 43-2090 was from 1976 and superceded TB 746-93-1. It covers the camo patterned paint. Very helpful, almost a paint by numbers diagram.

2018 KAMO Rally Oct 5th-7th (Kansas Arkansas Missouri Oklahoma)

Looking forward to this. My first rally, as well. Hoping to bring down my camper. There is also a guy I work with looking at coming down.

    Vehicle markings

Do you, by chance, recall which tm? -10, -20, etc? I was looking, but didn't find in my searches.

    Vehicle markings

I'm having trouble finding the specs for painting on the hood and door markings fo my m51. I'd have sworn I've seen it before. Even had a picture referencing where to measure from and letter sizes. Can't find it now. Here's the style I'm trying to emulate.

    New from Missouri

Welcome, from next door in Kansas. There is definitely an abundance of useful information here and plenty of helpful and knowledge people. Good luck in searching for a truck.

    M51A2 dump bed install questions

Looks like it's just got the older bolt pattern. I guess I'll have to drill for the newer pattern.

    M51A2 dump bed install questions

That's what I figured. How do the later trucks use the larger taillights? Are the the mounting holes just drilled higher so that the wires line up?

    M51A2 dump bed install questions

When i got my truck (1952 Mack M51A2) the bed had been removed by the fire department that had it so that a tank could be installed. I have since gotten a correct bed and have been working on getting it installed on the truck. While attempting to install the taillights to the correct...

    Timber Rattlesnake on Air Cleaner

Wow. I've never found any in what I was working on, but I have found a couple of copperheads while weedeating. Two separate instances, and man did they startle the crap out of me both times! After I gathered myself together, I went and got my catcher (I hunt rattlesnakes every spring, so I...
