Schutt Industries 1CSL0-SLC-T-1000 Self Loading Trailer

What are you guys thinking about for decking the trailer? I am thinking about 1/2 inch aluminum plate about 24 inches wide up against the existing rail for the container and leaving the middle open for access. I am worried about adding too much weight and lowering the amount of weight it can carry.

Coolant filter setup for CUCV - picking the best option

I use option #2 on my deuce, it filters very well and if it does get restricted it won't block anything. Just my thought.

Schutt Industries 1CSL0-SLC-T-1000 Self Loading Trailer

Got my starter back from repair yesterday, put it in and after a few tries it started right up. Checked the hydraulics and everything works. How did you guys reprogram the wireless remote?

Schutt Industries 1CSL0-SLC-T-1000 Self Loading Trailer

I have been watching this thread, I have one of these trailers. I bought mine in the first group. My starter is the same as all the rest, filled with water and rust. The air ride filled right up and holds air, also checked the 24 volt light connection and they work too. I bought new batteries...

Looking for Medium Maintenance Tent TM

Thanks alot!! The frame and canvas is in good condition, but some of the connector pieces on the curved sections are broken. I guess it was not anchored properly and took a ride in the wind.

    M880 series parts.

Thanks for your opinion. I am surprised at how heavy it is, that would definatly change my plan to retrieve it if it works out. I think my trailer is only good for 7000. I have seem a thread where someone was going to convert to diesel with a newer cummins. Thanks again!

    M880 series parts.

What are the downsides? Some of the research i have done talks about front axle issues. I know the 318 was a good motor. Doesn't it have the same body as the 1031?
