    Insuring a CUCV (protecting an Investment)

    Full coverage with USAA. One less item to deal with son or daughter gets into a fender smasher. Not worried about the CUCV, just whatever gets smashed.... If we ever have to total one of them I'll have a parts truck for all the "new" trucks I will buy.....

    a BIG HOWDY from TX to youenz up there. If you were looking for a daily driver for just you then by all means the 1009 is the BOMB!!! Unless you live in a climate that see 100 plus in the shade for more than a couple days.... Your second choice of a Jeep is nice, but for the money a chevy tahoe...

    Body Parts for M1009

    LMC is good start, but their prices are a little on the high side do a search and you will find several threads that give more sources. the M1009 is a K5 blazer, search the web with that as well.

    tires/wheels

    giga, $300 a wheel seems high. I've sourced 37" hummer tires with 80% tread for as little as $50/tire....... so even at $100 a tire you're looking at $200 a rim. Would have to be a pretty SPECIAL rim for that cost!!!!
