    Holes from armored windshield?

#Action, is there a rivnut setting tool you prefer, or one that will cover most of the fastener sized on the HMMWV? After looking at mine, some were open ended, some were closed, and others were just stripped completely out, so I'm going to set all new, assuming I can find that size in stock...

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

#fuzzytoaster have you ever had to sand on any of your older Behr paint jobs? All the detractors talk about how much it would load up on discs and sand paper if and when you ever had to sand it. I've also heard reports of it cracking from the flex on fiberglass hoods on the HMMWV. From what...

    Help with Red Dot System

Currently in the process of disconnecting a Red Dot to move it farther back to our new 4 door rear curtain, and can't seem to identify some of the parts I'm looking for. The condenser loop, #1 in the first photo of the inside unit (where the transducer attaches) is leaking oil all over the cab...

M1123 Brush Guard & Bumper Options

Thanks Steven. So you're saying the Luverne mounts wont bolt up to the A2 winch bumper plate that I currently have without modification? Looking at the plate I have, the holes where the top of the Luverne bracket would mount through don't have any open space behind them to access a bolt or...

M1123 Brush Guard & Bumper Options

#Coug, can the luverne style guard be run with a tow bar? I do like that I have the ability with my current setup to install a tow bar if I ever need to pull my truck somewhere. I couldn't tell if that was even an option with the luverne installed. Don't own the tow bar yet, but on the hunt.

    Great tips, thank you Action!

    Holes from armored windshield?

Thank you! Definitely missing that lower retainer then. I couldn’t quite tell from the parts manual. Now if I can just figure out how to drill out all the stripped rivnuts for the upper and middle glass retainers, without having them all rattle around inside my windshield frame forever...

    Holes from armored windshield?

There is a metal bracket or receiver directly underneath the windshield gasket along the bottom of the windshield but these holes are out in front of that.

    Holes from armored windshield?

Assuming these are holes from previously installed armored windshields? The rivnuts open right down into the area behind the dash. Would y’all use some RTV and a bolt, or remove them and use and body plugs? Trying to keep water from running right behind the dash area when it rains.

    Lizard Skin Questions

Who here has sprayed the lizard skin sound and or temp control material inside their HMMWV cab? Currently converting our M1123 from a 2 door to 4 door and figured I might as well coat the insides instead of repainting them. For those of you who have used the lizard skin, do you then put the...

M1123 Brush Guard & Bumper Options

I do like the luverne style but cant tell who out there has the real deal and who is building a knock off copy. I've seen some with the expanded metal mesh in them too but didn't know if that was an authentic look either. I do like that the luverne guards at least catch themselves and have the...

M1123 Brush Guard & Bumper Options

Have a tubular brush guard on my M1123, but wanting something with a little more front end protection for driving at night through deer country. What would you guys recommend? I've seen Ibis Tek, Midwest Military winch and stubby, and some ridiculously overpriced Predators. Would eventually...

    6TL Battery Availability

Where were you able to find the Hawkers for $450 each?

    6TL Battery Availability

I have been searching for weeks for 6TL batteries for my new 1123 that came with some off brand batteries that are way too small. Napa, Oreilly, Autozone, Interstate, and Batteries Plus are all out of stock and can’t even order one right now. Does anyone have a lead or source for anything...

Best Rearview Camera Setups for HMMWV

Where did you mount your 3rd and 4th camera @simp5782? Does the Pyle allow for 24/12v triggers for example with a turn signal wire. Where did you pull power from?

M1123 - Ragged armor holes on top of rear fenders

That’s some serious dedication @royg. I wish I had your skills and the equipment because I’m a little OCD with any of my vehicle builds and would love to patch them up without body plugs.

Best Rearview Camera Setups for HMMWV

Does anyone have advice on which rear view or surround view camera setup is best for the elements, and holds up well in the HMMWV? Rear camera would be mounted to the back of a four door hard top setup, or an airlift bumper with a rhino tire carrier. I've seen a lot of foreign made junk on...

What are you using for a 24Volt trickle charger?

For anyone that has used one of the 2 Bank Noco Gen5X2 10 amp or 2 Bank GenPro10x2 chargers on their HMMWV, have you used it with their new AC Port Extension mounted on the truck somewhere? Trying to figure out where that could go so I dont have to keep doors or windows open when and if its...
