Check the switch on the foot pedal for the Jake. That was the culprit for erratic operation on ours. Sometimes the Jakes would only kick in after standing on the pedal for a few seconds, sometimes they wouldn't work at all. New switch solved it.

Has anyone actually added a tach to a Goat? Could be mounted on top of the dash it seems.

Military trailers seem to work fine with it, it was towing civilian trailers with an M931A2 that caused us problems

Are you going to be towing anything with your tractor? The standard 1400s on M931A1/A2s already raise the 5th wheel height up quite high, 1600s are even worse.

How does the air bags under the cab interact with the butterfly hood? I was under the impression that when the cab bounced around on air ride, the fixed mounted hood would bang against the cowl damaging the hood and the front of the cab.

Any photos of how you added air ride? Will make things a lot better when driving to shows as far away as 1000 miles. I do not have any photos now but will post later

Was thinking about this the other day, when was the Air-shift transfer case and air-assist power steering introduced? I am going to guess the T case came first and was more widely adopted then the power steering. Thanks
