The CAT 3116 is really not highly regarded compared to other CATs. From what I found, it needs an occasional injector syncronizing adjustment procedure done to it. In commercial apps, every 6000 miles a CAT tech needs to set/adjust each injector (camshaft actuated) and a specific injector...

Highway rest areas are your friend. Use them even if you don't think you need too. (get out, stretch, pee,, etc..)

Just remember, the more you put in, the more it will liquify/separate and run out your boots if they are less than perfect.
