    Survival 109 build

Those cross members are what is holding your box to the frame. (i.e., the reason the floor doesn't buckle and your box slump onto your tires.) Are you doing something to return the structure you removed?

    Survival 109 build

I plan to start turning my 109 box into an off road RV. What do you plan to do with the floor? I need to figure it out myself, just know I want a solid foundation if I am going to spend time and money building it out.

    Survival 109 build

That wouldn't be very good for my moral if I was manning one of these trucks and knew the military didn't think the truck would last more then a month on the battlefield.

    Broken Rockwell Axle

I was thinking the same thing based on his picture showing articulation. Wonder if there is any evidence of the tire scrubbing the bottom of the bed over the tire(s).

20k Winch Hydraulic Drive Motor Cost

I'm in the same boat, if you find a lead. I have the winchs, but need everything else to mount one on the front and possibly on the back.

What 5-ton series would be good for mudding?

Would love to see your project for putting a 20k hydraulic winch on the back, do you have a build thread on the site?

    Our 5-ton: "CRAZY DOG"

That is so cool and has refueled my desire to have a pass through on my new (just started) project. Of course I could be a little bias when it comes to spoiling my dogs. :)

    Show us your Military Trailers

Did you flip the surge brake to the bottom or delete the surge brake and add a new hitch on the bottom?

    M923 with No alternator output

I changed mine over to a commercially available alternator and it is purring like a kitten. You will probably have to notch the stock bracket where the back of the alternator bolts up. No idea the spacer diameter. I actually had to drill out my lower strap to accept bigger bolts then the...

    why bob

I bought my deuces and M931A2 because they have 6 wheels. That is part of the cool factor for me. With that said, if you buy it, you own it, and you have the right to do with it as you may. If people believe trucks or anything should be preserved, then they should save, buy and preserve it.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Cool, can't wait to live vicariously through them when you post them. :)

M939A2 Red Dot Compressor Mount Kit Group Buy

Same here (as in interested in buying the kit).

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That can't be true or you would have posted pictures, or even videos. ;)

What did you do to your deuce this week?

    Don't worry about it.

Deuce and 939 series size difference

I think the A0-A1 (larger non-turbo engine) get the 5-7ish and the A2 (smaller turbo engine)can get up to 9-10. A lot depends on where you drive and how you drive. My deuce gets 11-12 mpg on flat roads at 500 ft above sea level, cruising down the hwy at 45 mpg. I don't have enough miles on...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Napa makes a spin on filter base? Happen to have the part number?
