    I have one in the classifieds for comparison. The old diaphragm fuel pumps take a long time to get the fuel from the tank after sitting. I usually use a bottle to trickle gas into the carb until it builds pressure.

    I have an Exide Group 31 just now a year old, and been junk for months, 10 volts only, has a bad cell and Exide said too bad so sad. Good luck with yours.

    Yes, If you have a historical registration / plate whether displayed or not. Then you will be held to the restrictions of the historical plate, I.E. " not used for general transportation"

    Shouldn't be any gaps. put it on jack stands and turn the steering column shaft, watch the parts. The loose point is your problem.

    Rebuidlable? not really. Could it be tightened up? Maybe. You would have to bend/compress the forged part back down on the ball. I would look at getting another end for the pass side and cut off the old & drill & tap the rod. RH/LH thread no matter as you would not be adjusting from that end, a...
