    1986 M1028, 454 Gasser......?

You are correct. I have seen diferent top adapters for many combinations, but REAL tunnel rams run 2-4's.

    m818or m923a1 what would you buy ?

The A1 would have super singles. Is this a typo? Nice, clean truck. Why paint it? or, was that a joke?

    M1008 Melting battery cables

I'll third this. The cable works loose from these factory connectors over years of removing and installing them by twisting against the cable/connector. Using a terminal puller will help prevent this, but swapping to the crimp or clamp style terminals is probably better.

    1986 M1028, 454 Gasser......?

A tunnel ram would be 2-4's. Is this a mud truck, or something else?

    General Checkout on HMMWV's

Sweet. I agree with Flyingvan911. You really should give them a good off-road once over. It really is the BEST way to show support for your local sheriff's department. And, take lots of pics while you are at it!:D

    MD 1st Time Deuce

I think this depends on who you get at the MVA. Generally, the SF-97 comes with a dealer re-assignment/transfer form from Florida, too, which allows GL to transfer the SF-97 that is in their name to you. The titling is usually the easy part. Getting the historic tags can be a challenge at some...

What the M101 was designed to do.

Exactly! The data plate af an M101A1 shows the towbar down and folded up for transport in this exact manner.

    Camp Shelby 5T Home!

First off, Congratulations! Technically, all this means is that the truck was repainted at that time. I've seen lots of trucks with "paint rebuilds" that weren't actually overhauled, so don't base it soley on the CARC date...

    Major braking problem

Wow! So, did you mean to say it pulled *right* to start with? You have replaced the hoses and calipers at this point? Did the right side bleed freely, like the steel line was not plugged? Is the steel line pinched anywhere from the proportioning valve over to the wheel?

    M105 different Lunnette

The top handle in the hitch is for releasing the lunette to pivot side to side. The one on the leg is for lifting (and I think releasing) the leg.

    M105 different Lunnette

Swivel hitch attachment and lifting assist handle. Nifty stuff.

    Trailer value

Which means it is the M103A3 flatbed 1.5-ton variant with 9.00x20 tires. Incidentally, the M101 series only ever got a single MEP-003 because of their weight.
