Depends on condition. Scrap is running about $0.10 per pound around my area, and the value goes up from there based on the condition of the truck. If it's nice and doesn't need any work, it could be anywhere from $7K to $12K to the right guy.

Does it smoke (white) while cranking? If not, it's probably a fuel drain back problem. If so, it's probably glow plug related.

A suburban tailgate flares up on the ends to meet the body, while the Blazer is flat. A civvy Blazer tailgate will work fine (including electric window versions, as you point out), but not a Suburban version. At least, not the Suburban tailgate I bought for this exact purpose some years back...

The handle is hung on the leg for transport in the two tabs that stick out using the pin on the chain. The main part of the crank handle is flat stock, so it fits between the tabs.
