I would snatch up any M135/m34 rims you can find if you can get them for a good price. They are drying up and will always hold some value. Maybe I will buy another KS trailer and you can fill it up?
Any LDS 465 1 A multi motors around?
It sounds to me like you were getting air in the system and your glow plugs were not working right and then you might have fried the starter relay trying to start it. shinny thing under the dash.
I would do the doghead glow plug upgrade because it also sounds like your glow plug card is not...
Thanks guys I am going to pull that cover now that I know something "could" have loosened up. It will not shift out of high and when I move the shaft to low it sounds like it wants to shift.. Yea I know they take little lube for the size of that thing and it all sits way down low.
I have a...
Hmmm.. I really would like to understand how and what that rod does exactly before I pull that mother of a boat anchor out. I am just trying to figure out if something is not adjusted right or could be remedied from the access point or if the low range is no longer working for some reason.

My M818 will not go into or has no Low range. At first I thought maybe the linkage was out of wack but I unhooked the linkage and used a big pry bar on the shaft. It is out as far as it will go. When I put it in gear it will not move and feels like it wants to grab but will not engage. I see...
There is/was a M35 PTO and shaft for sale in the classifieds for $200. You will also need the linkage and winch extensions for your M35.
The M211/135s have a Transfer case driven winch with two shafts and a pillow block. The only thing that is the same is the winch itself. Good luck.:p
Let me first say I skimmed through all the posts so this might have been covered. It sounds to me like your first issue with it running and then dying was a bad coil. Now after changing things maybe you have created a timing issue somehow. If you get all your timing figured out and are certain...
Made it home yesterday.. Everything soaked.. stumbled in and passed out. 700 miles in a M1028.. Still heard the rumble when I woke up.
Kip! You find me a MBU 110 to 24volt convertor and I might just be your friend!
Had a good time. I should have stayed up with the rowdy crowd but that might...
Ok we can talk if you have not sold it by the time I get there. I would like to set it up and well... Might need to test it out by sleeping in it.
I am not sure when Stretch is coming in but I would like to unload your lights when we get there.. Then we can play with them! [thumbzup] What you bringing to get them home?
