    m939 series schematic

Do you have to have MS Access to run it? When I try to install it comes up with a pop up saying I need to buy additional MS products to run it. I have word, excel, PP, but no Access.

heavy duty tow bar oops ...anyone need one lol

Yea, it looked like a med to me as well until they pointed out some obvious things, like the ability to slide the length in/out. Here are a couple of pictures of my Tow bar and one mounted on the side of APC.

heavy duty tow bar oops ...anyone need one lol

What! You mean that there weren't 20 used widgets that looked "exactly" the same down to the placement of various pieces? :)

M923 Axle Nut socket, who needs one

I'm interested as a new owner of a M939A2. Edited to be more clear: Would like both sizes if you are making both, and would reimburse your costs and shipping for the set, if you decide to make them for the group. Thanks

    M1102 trailer behind a 5 ton?

I find backing these trailers improves one's ability. The M1102 is a very good teacher and quick to punish impatience. As far as the thread, I would think they would be tilted slightly back when attached to a M939 series. Can you post a picture?

    M925A2 to M932LA2 Conversion

    No problem, glad to help.

    M925A2 to M932LA2 Conversion

That gap is approximately 7/8" between back of rear frame rail and the flange. Measured 40.25" from the inside of the rear Boogie brace that is bolted on the frame (on the right side), and 40" on the left to the back of the frame rails. I assume I am bending the tape measure to get the extra...

    M925A2 to M932LA2 Conversion

I have my M931A2 parked outside. I will be glad to take some pictures of anything you need and same with the measurements.

Possibly No More Trucks from DLA

How about the action of the EPA to prevent DoD from selling trucks based on the above response? Simply ask your Senators if this is true and request they oppose it if it is. I think it is a reasonable understanding that it is happening to some degree at this time and being argued by GL and...

    deuce hub possible issue

My issue was on a trailer. I jacked it up to change the bearings and noticed that the brake was dragging a bit, but didn't think about it at the time. Ended up pulling the hub and finding the bearings in good shape, repacked them with a new seal (to replace the one I removed), and backing the...

    deuce hub possible issue

Last time that happened to me it was a brake adjustment issue.

Deuce vs 5 ton buying advice

6 wheels are better off road, 10 wheels gives you some ability to limp home if you lose a tire and don't have a spare. I like the look of the singled out deuce better, and taller tires gives you a bit higher top speed, but you sacrifice some power. I have tires and MRAP wheels and plan on...

Deuce vs 5 ton buying advice

I thought Bobbers are less capable off road, but that discussion may be better suited in a search for the plethora of information already out there. I personally prefer the 6x6, so a bit bias. :)

    Jerry can holders

How do they strap into the mount, or am I missing something obvious? Like the idea.

    M931-a2

Out of curiosity, what have you changed? (regulator, entire alternator, etc?) I'm in the process of changing out the regulator in the back of the alternator on mine to correct my over voltage.

How much general maintenance required for 923?

Agree with the "better to use it vs. stored in the garage and not driven much" to keep all the fluids moving from time to time, etc. I have a (pickup) truck with over 225,000 miles that I use every day and have not had any issues save batteries every 5-6 years and a fuel pump because I had a...

Proper procedure for filling 8.3 engine oil

Would definitely like to see pictures or video when you take your truck off roading. Seems to be limited video of the M931/932 tractors off road.

got screwed on an m939.... crap

I second going through the vehicle and accessing it's condition. I have bought multiple trucks from GL and have learned the hard way that they are not to be believed (and yes members told me that over and over.) My favorite was it starts and drives. When I got their they asked where my...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Hope the wiring harness disconnect is the problem, and that fixes you up. ... what about those of us that live in warm and hot weather, and extremely cold weather is when it drops below freezing? :)
