    Did you bleed the fuel system using the bleeder valves on top of the secondary/ final fuel filter? Procedure is in the TM's. Hope this helps!

    Good point- black looks cool but usually isn't historically accurate. I'm probably going to paint mine too. Post some pics when you get done!

    Hey Smoke- your paint job looks great! You have a truck to be proud of. I'm planning on painting my deuce the same color as soon as it cools down. Are you going to leave your rims black or paint them also? I'm up in the air about whether or not to paint my rims to match the truck.

    painting day gone wrong

    I'm not a professional painter but I usually wait a few days between primer & paint and the same for additional paint colors. Have never had any problems that way. No point rushing after doing all the prep work!

    I have one and it's great! I posted information about it in a thread titled "Questions about removing deuce wheels". I don't know how to link you to that thread but I'll post more information if you haven't already seen it.

    Looks great JC! If you have an Ace Hardware nearby I use them extensively for deuce nuts and bolts. Lots of hard to find sizes, grade 5 & 8, and stainless.

    If so, it's held on by 4 bolts thru the firewall. It's covered in TM 9-2320-361-20, 11-39, page 11-76. Hope this helps!
