Yep Bigbee is right... A very knowledgeable person of the area and a chat with the local DNR would not hurt either.. Anybody? Its my understanding that in the winter they become designated snowmobile trails only. Hmmmm sure would like to have some winter MV fun if we can make it happen..
Sent to me by a anonymous source..
In an effort to save ourselves , being the devil's advocate and nay say er in the proposal by the guy in Higgins Lake:
The snowmobile trails around that area are very much used (by downstate riders with a ton of $$$$ stuck in sleds and hotels) and groomed...
Well back on track here.. The "kid" Haver decided to go with the stock M880 rims and 37" radials. He has to do a little fender trimming up front but should make for a nice riding and looking truck. Maybe he will post some pics..
Are they ok Kenny! I didnt realize your wife was Haitian? For some reason I thought she was cuban ?? Makes no difference to me and I hope all is well.. Is she back home?
There is one place here in Michigan that celebrates it every year.. Hillman, Michigan. I think they are the only place in the state that officially does.. A bunch of the museum folks and us GLMVPA members try to make it every year.. Big parade, and lots of events.
A few pictures from 07..
I will have a 3/4 ton truck and empty 7K car trailer traveling to southern Illinois empty in a couple weeks. Just seeing if anyone needs something hauled south along this route. I will be traveling south on US-131 skirting Chicago and shooting south near St Louis.
average $1800 to $3800.. Check the pics for parts missing under the hood. If it has dents in the door there is a 80% chance it has a bent drive shaft from a fork truck. Not much else you can see from pics.. Tires hold air? Hope this helps a little.. Good luck!
I have a chained up R2 I would like to bring.. Do you think you could keep me/us on just trails? Trying to decide what I should take. I like your General Jims idea kind of like a winter version of the summer one. I will send this link to Clint and see what he says. He could then chat with Jeff...
Any interest in making part of this a swap meet? I have been working toward a springtime swap meet through the GLMVPA but this would work just fine. Buildings for rent in the area? Maybe contact Clint Barber the president of the GLMVPA He might be able to help as far as event insurance and put...
I give you a 60/40 split... Sometimes they take a perfect truck and one must die so others may live.. Then keep picking away at it like vultures..:-D Or she has some major issues and is that way for a reason.
Hey Kenny one truck I purchased had them installed. Not sure if its right but the tow hooks were removed. The front tow hook hole was used and another was drilled through the radiator support and bolted on. No extra plates on them but I think that would be a good idea to put on and have 4 bolts...
Its my understanding that on the M42 (radio truck version of the M37) the spare was moved to the drivers door and the jump seat was added to fold down and make a bigger shelf for radio equipment? Just something I remember reading somewhere.. I will have to look that up again.. This would be on...
