    Here are a few off the top.. I will dig up more when I have time.. Its my understanding that not to many were actually used or saw use in the Korean war.. But I could be wrong I have no proof just rumor.. Most of the pictures I have of the Korean war we UN countries are using leftover WWII...

    The only info I can find on that truck is it was built by Toyota and is in Pakistan. I know Toyota built versions of the M37 from the 50's to 60's with both diesels and gas engines but that is all I know about them.. Pretty cool huh! :-D Maybe someone will see it and knows the story and has more...

    Ernie has listed some very good info folks..Thank you it has been saved and printed. I am not sure you can compare these unless you were comparing two brand new engines on a dino or in the same truck and trans combo.. To many variables that could effect the outcome like valve lash, engine...

    Well if you plan on having a M37 some day I would pull it ,fill the cylinders,wrap it up and set it in your storage shed..:wink: Did you look at that site? We should be able to identify it if the numbers are on it. I have seen a few that the numbers were missing though.

    Probably poppop! Get the numbers off the block and I can tell you what it is. I think they made a 237 and 251 Spitfire also but most likely its the 265 in a D500.. The others were mostly car engines if my two brain cells are correct. Does it have a dump bed? If so it might have the same 5 speed...

    Stock rims work great for them.. You will need radial tubes and flaps. International Tube and Tire out of TX is the best I have found both in knowing what you need and price.. you will be happy with them tires they are awesome..
