I use bee's wax and it works good. This will not hurt the canvas or leave stains. Smear the par that slides in the channel. Then flip it on the hood and start it.You have to keep even pressure and work it through slow. Do the same for the sides behind the door. If you pull off to the side just a...
Sometimes the spring on the cover gets bent down and hinders the trailer plug from going in too. I use spray silicon and it does the job for getting them together.. You also have to line up the slot..
Hated to see you go jfnemt1ff1.. We miss you! Come back and visit often.. Maybe the trail ride of 2009? Or you could have a Iowa trail ride.. I would come to that!!!
Welcome! I am Familiar with Owosso.. Grew up in the Flushing, and Flint area.. Glad to have another in the Michigan clan. I picked up a M1009 this summer so my wife had something to drive. Well its now my daily driver and I love it. I always loved the K5's I had in the past and never thought I...
A couple questions and I am not being a smart butt.. Did you unhook the drive shafts? Did you blow the front tires up real hard on the M342? Could you have had a brake draging on the M342? Hubs hot?
What! Hmmmm... Could it be made drivable? Your well within my circle of " your not that far" ... I would bring the wrecker.. Must have some pictures of this ..:-D
Your welcome.. I have flipped atleast 50 of these on every type of trailer you can think of.. This method works the best. Most of the time when you hit the eye your not hitting square to the taper. The key is to heat the housing just enough for it to expand and not blast it to weaken the metal...
Do what your doing apply heat to the housing and hit the housing with a sledge while applying pressure with the nut against a piece of flat stock behind the nut between the cast arm. It will pop off.. They dont call me trailer ho for nothing...:-D
Very nice! I might be interested in one of those new filter housings for my M135 if you can get more...
As for touching yourself:| That is a visual I didnt need..:-D more pictures!
I just wanted to ad. I have heard some rumblings that certain year late 40's Ford trucks had a PTO that would work on the Canadian ACME trans.. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If so what years, style truck? I am told it was a Borg Warner PTO and that ACME was owned by them or something like...
Hi guys. I am looking for a good used, or rebuilt NP 420 transmission for my M37 Canadian truck in or around the state of Michigan. Anybody have one they will part with? I have given up trying to find a PTO for the ACME trans and must have a winch on the truck. I would like the newer style NP...
Ipe is great stuff and will not rot. BUT ! Its 4 times harder than Oak and very, very heavy.. Lifting one M101 side board with Ipe on it would be a killer. Now it would make great bow lumber:?: Its very, very, very strong.. PS dont cut it without a mask. It naturaly draws silica from the soil...
I will check my stash this weekend and take a count. If I dont have enough Mahogany I know I have Maple and White Oak.. You need it for the rear doors, sides, front, and ? What about bows?
I thought Mahogany grew in North Cuba? Some types of Cyprus would be good too.. Check Mikes back yard.. :-D
Only a few comments about treated.. It does not take paint very well, and tends to wonder a bit as it dries in the sun. You will also need to use hot dipped galvanized bolts or stainless. The new treated will eat right through regular fasteners. But it is a affordable option..
I am not sure...
