United Fun is the only place I know offhand that has an M818, everyone else has the M52. Just wish their site had a conversion chart on it. Could not locate the tanker. As was mentioned before it is getting harder to find it.
I had found a site over in Germany that made an M125 10 ton cargo, but the link i have is dead now.
EDIT found link, does not show the M125 anymore, but does show the M123.
I think it was last year that Herpa took over for Roco. I spent a lot of money through Walthers on vehicles, I have the standard M35a2's, those gun trucks, a fuel tanker, UH1 helicopters, AH64's and a bunch of others.
The early production of "M35" is actually the CCKW352. Like I said go and...
They have been out for quite a while, I have about 6 of them I bought back in 2005. Very detailed trucks.
If you go on epay, and search roco minitank, you will find the first run trucks. I will have to find the pics of the trucks I did.
USAFFS, that is a neat ladder, however it might be limiting to those with mobility issues that need to use the full step to get up. I know watching a few people get up my ladder they had to stop and rest every step or couple steps
Lindy, they have the 4 step ladder you can buy, build your own...
Since mine is going to have the 106mm mounted on it, we are hiding the battery in the home made tool box. Our mule came with the electric already mounted (car battery, alt and starter). We are going to switch out the car battery and go with a motorcycle battery to save space.
As to what it is, I have no clue.
I would guess it would be part of an anti aircraft/ missile array. Like the patriot system.
Looks pretty cool...and expensive.
Nice looking machine, I picked one up in Sept, and learned real quick it is a very simple machine to work on. So far I have done 2 boots, a U-joint and all 12 needle bearings.
I know of an M149a1 for sale for 200. The guy just does not want it or have a way to tow it. Remember it weighs 3K empty. They move it around with a forklift (not like how GL does it). No title. I passed on the offer, that I was given for it.
He had an M105, and I think he picked up an M103...
The pic he saw was in a GL ad a while back.
As for opening it up it is done by 2 gears at the back to open the sides out. all done by hand.
Here is a good thread so you can see more pics on it. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/5-ton-up/30647-m820a2-home-safe-now-its-time-check-her-out.html
Only ones you will find are the Jeeps, mules. the M37 and 715's....The older trucks. For the smaller trucks, don't have time to list all the gas powered ones.
I downloaded all the TM's for the trucks and trailers I was interested in. so I have most of them saved either on my laptop, or the removable hard drive.
