From what I was told the parts interchange.
Thanks mulemac, will keep you in mind. I think right now we have, or will be getting shipped, all the parts needed for it.
Was going to go over to my dads tonight to play with it, but family stuff has got in the way so maybe Saturday.
I think it should be a requirement that for every pic you post, you have to post 2 of her.:razz:
Nice looking truck, even better looking woman.
Can' wait to see it done, and I am not a fan of the A3's. :driver:
In my opinion, keep shopping for a hauler. Most want around 2 bucks/mile to haul, someone is trying to get real rich off of you. My truck got delivered for 1.75 last September. Hauling it just saves a bunch of hassles.
That one was built as part of a competition between mechanics, to see who can build the best recruiting truck. There was one that was being built in a shop, that had the frame, axles and wheels from an M939, power train was from an M113. This thing was massive.
Only requirements I can recall...
Mine is an M274a2 as well, 4 wheel steer.
triggertime, it is a new motor. he was selling them for 500 a piece, but gave us a deal since we bought it with the mule.
I got the electronic copy of the TM's from Google books, the operators, direct support and organizational support manuals. Been...
I have always like the camo trucks, better then the classic cars. Granted they are fun to look at as well, but there is something about having a vehicle that your not afraid to use.
Truck (and jeep) look good.
We had a looong day out there on Saturday, actually made it back to get the mule after the show closed to get the mule home. Was kinda interesting to see the show, and how different things were after it was done for the day.
Since it was just me and my dad, I was half tempted to take out the...
Well now I have even more proof, your wrecker guys like playing with your toys.
I was at a vehicle show this weekend and bought a mule, my dad asked me if I brought the deuce out how we would load it. I told him I would find the guy who owns the wrecker and get him to load it. Dad just...
Joe, you still have not finished that up yet...and you call me slow. The mule will still be around.
For those that have not seen what we are turning this into, here is the link for an accessory item...
I was happy we dealt with him. Had been looking at mules all over, and just happened to find him close, so that saved a bunch in picking it up/ shipping.
Never drover a mule before, and cant wait til the parts come in for us to fix it and run it around.
Nope not any more, but thanks for being willing to do that for me.
Does anyone have an electronic copy of the manuals? Need to find out how to do those bearings, plus everything else on this.
As you can see in the pics, we also picked up a spare motor. Just couldn't argue about the price too much. Nothing seems wrong with the motor in it now, but just in case we might need it later.
We were happy we didn't have to travel all over the earth to get one.
Naw, I think I will skip on...
My dad and I are rebuilding a recoilless rifle and needed something to mount it on, well today my father and I went to the ride through history show in Alliance, OH.
This was my dads first show, which he seemed to enjoy for a lot of reasons.
Well there was a couple mules sitting there he was...
