Don't know how long we will spend out there, but want to stay more then just the morning. Might take a trip out to Sam Winer sometime in the afternoon, since he is close. Never been out to his place before.

    Thinking about building a deuce...

I would make a better bet, by the time you buy and ship all the parts you can get one from Eastern Surplus. And those ones are not cheap.

    Thinking about building a deuce...

I would be curious to see the cost difference between buying one, and just starting from a frame. Part by part, including shipping of said parts.

I'll be out on Saturday. I was kinda figuring it was bigger, seems like this one they have done longer then the June show. Hopefully in a year or so the June one can get bigger. Will probably have my whole family again, even my dad wants to ride along. He is getting into MV's finally.

Are you bringing it to the show in Alliance this weekend? Anyone else going? Trying to decide if I wanna bring out my deuce or not.

    Gloss Black Hummer with Tan

Well heck you work for them, just tell them to take it out of your pay. One way to have happy employees. When I was quoted a price, it was 10K. I got my deuce for 4. Granted it was not completely redone.

    Bigger driver in a Deuce

5'10, 250 all stomach, have a little bit of clearance between the wheel and gut. Guess I better not try driving after a big meal...rofl

    Gloss Black Hummer with Tan

Oh, I have looked through your site a long time ago, but when I got quoted a price for a deuce that would have to make me work 3 jobs for a couple years to buy. never looked back. And yes I do know why the prices are that way, just the prices suck for the collector. As for the HMMWV, I was...

    Gloss Black Hummer with Tan

While it looks nice, it just looks like one of the commercial ones off the show room. Me personally I would rather see the fresh painted camo or tan version, maybe as a stretch a flat black version.

    European scrap yard

I like the halftrack "Burma Jeep", and rounded cab on the Reo.

Pics of my Deuce.... and girl

I want to see some of the other pics in the calendar. I might want one as well.

Adding a hose reel, maybe a rear winch

Well it still would retract, the end of the hose that sticks out the back (that your going to plug into your air system), just add a glad hand on it and there ya go. Hose will retract as needed.

Adding a hose reel, maybe a rear winch

so why not use glad hands to hook into your system? 25 foot hose will clear all the objects in your bed, be taken off for a clean military look for the truck.

Pics of my Deuce.... and girl

I like the pics. I would rather see something like this using the flag rather then seeing it burned, thrown on the ground and so on. Someone left their truck in gear.....

Should there be a SE US show??

I think you would be fine to tie in with the MVPA. Yes they may be mostly be trailer queen trucks, BUT you can offer trail/mud/useful rides to coincide with the show. That way people could walk around and see the trailer queens, then hop in the back of one for a ride and really learn what it is...
