1st, I wish I had that advice before I found out how hard a hardtop is :???:
2nd, Don't go out and buy the manuals, they are under the resources tab. For free.
Seeing pics like this, makes me wish I had more money to work on mine. Good luck getting yours done.
I have a friend who was on vacation in FL. On the 21st, when her family had left to come home, they stopped for a red light and got rear ended. Their insurance company got them a car to get back home, but now she is trying to find a way to get it back home. Luckily only the vehicle suffered the...
Build it high enough, and make it fold up. It should not interfere with anything, unless doing some rough offroading.
Thinking something like this........
Another Idea.....
Why not make a porch off the back of the truck, that you can mount the spare tire winch to. And have the whole porch crank into place.

You can find a great truck for cheaper and not have to drive it very far and save money.
A garage would be nice to have to build it but we don' t have the room inside the garage. so it is being done outside. For now...
It doesn't look like they used much material to rebuild yours.
And this wont be firing, except possibly to make in into a spud gun :grin:

If you can find a sight box off of one, I would appreciate it. Wonder if customs inspector would have an issue with that? Guess I might have to find one.
Frank,
Do you remember off hand how long it took to get back together?
I talked with my dad earlier and he got the bolt for the spotter rifle to slide, clean a bit of the slag off from the torch. I am going over tomorrow and try and figure out how to take everything apart. Since I don't have...
