OK, so its not just me. I have noticed it in the afternoons for the last couple days. Seems like it hits the brakes around 1pm. All morning and over night it seems to clear up.

Can't really say without pics. But if you look at my pics, I picked it up last year for 4k. It had a hardtop, but I like the soft top better. I don't know any of these trucks that don't need some kind of TLC, that is what makes them fun.

I would say for 8 use the GP medium. You will still have room to use for other things, as well as a sleep area.

this is my setup, got the flag poles from walmart. I made a set of clearance posts and attach the flags with zip ties. Only have them up in parades.
