RE: odd turn signal guards
They look the same as the A3 guards? Maddawg you were at Chambersburg a couple days ago! What did you get now? lol...See anything good?
Here you go..
Painted by my wife.. I am not sure if Dave has any of the back on his compooter so I posted them.. Yes its a real neet thing to watch go down the road. Even more exciting with the M146 on a dolly behind it!
A trucker friend of mine called today and is looking for something to haul back from Utah, or Colorado, Dakodas , or surounding states. He will be out there on Tuesday and hauling back to Michigan but could stop anywhere along the way. PM if you want his number and you can call him and set it...
Good luck and the weather should be ok for you.. That big old Cummins will keep some heat rolling in the cab.. Might have to cover the front a little.. heheheh.. Yes post pictures when you can.
RE: Re: RE: Step deck going to Chambersburg then to Michigan
Ok guys back on track and waiting on a EUC.. There will be room for a deuce on this trailer or lots of pallets if anyone wants to get something on this load and share some of the cost burden. If so PM me..
How many times do you change the fluid and the additive in the pigs for the clutches? Without doing this on a regular basis the clutches tend to fail early. I have had good luck with them also even in half ton axles with a hopped up 350 and 3 speed with creeper.. I made sure to keep the drive...
Armada is selling one of the nicest 1009's I have ever seen but his price tag is a little bit higher than what you say you have, but there is always the bank.. :D
I have been told different?
Open = less traction always spins or power to least resistance
limited slip = most traction spins or most resistance spins
posi = both will spin when going straight regardless of traction
locker = both locked up going straight and just enough give for around corners...
Ok Ok you guys I knew you were going to hassle me after I posted that.. A locking mechanizm better than a posi was installed.. Was it just a limited slip in the front or a Posi ? Picky picky...
Early heater? Maybe didnt know there was one. Garbee woud know for sure. I have only seen fuel fired and hot water heaters mounted on the drivers fender. Any holes in the hood or grill for arctic covers? Is it a hard top? I have one of those panels and the duct is much more jagged.. Does it...
If its a true M1031 with the GM truck box not the M880 version the generator does run off of a T case PTO. They will have the NP205 case and a gov lock in the rear and a limited slip in the front.
That floor panel has a hump in it like the ones used for the Arctic Heater duct.. They might have mounted something on that for a heater like mentioned above.
That floor panel should be flat all the way accross behind the fire extinquisher.. Hmmm.. Are the knockouts on the passenger fender...
