I have a set of dropside bow on my non drop truck, and I like it that way. I can pop them apart while still in the bed of the truck. No screw driver needed.

I bought the printed manuals years ago, before you could find the pdf files. But those usually stay on the shelf. I then hit the computer, print out what I need. and slowly building a copy off pdf files, those will be the yard copy.
Must be something with the commercial plate then, cause everyone i know who has a truck does not have it on theirs.
Like I said I was never told I needed one, even when I went to the inspection station. They never said anything about needing one, Just told me they cant pass it without me...

If so, that is the trucks weight classification. same as the bridge plate, but you are supposed to change the bridge plate, when towing trailers.
The 8, is for 8 tons loaded. And is painted on because the weight of the truck...

I cant believe no one has said whatever you do with your truck(s), make sure you take pics...and A LOT of them.
