well what the height of the standard sidewall on the bed? use that size then measure up from there with that known distance, to get the height of the box.
And you have a deuce to know tthe height from the ground to the bed.
Also something to consider...... since this is your first big truck you might want to see if one of the memebers here, that are close to the base, are available to help you. Thay maybe able to spot some trouble that you miss.
My old unit mostly had the M1028, for use with our shelter trucks ( Comm unit). Only 1008's we had were for our wire teams and supply.
The unit does not matter so much as the need for having the beefed up trucks.
Time lapse is still better then seeing it done by drawings in a book. Maybe just highlight important parts.
like you guys would not have fun making the vids for these.
well if you do put on a demo at the rally, then get someone to record it and post it cause there are alot like myself who cant afford to get to the rallies right now.
And same with installing the winch.
In my opinion, i personally would like to see an "expert" create a video of using a winch. Alot of people dont learn alot by reading, but by seeing how to do something.
And this does not only go for operation of the winch. could make a vid library of the operation of every part, like...
It might be going a little far, but with all the posts asking for how much each item would generally cost. Have a pic of each class and a price next to it. Like a truck sitting in the woods would be like $500 and a restored truck being $4000.
I know in DDoyle's books he had a price guide, but...
I remember bidding on that one. But there was one i wanted more in that lot. I ended up with none of them. still waiting to see who ended up with it.
very nice looking truck just the same.
Wish my truck was that nice when i brought it home. Mine should be a 220,but the place i got it from only had a cargo bed, so its acting like a 211. sometime after i get my M35, i will really get to working on it.
nice score.
welcome. i am sure someone here will have everything you need.
I will give you the best advice i can give you, unfortunately someone did not give the las owner, big trees dont move out of the way, so you have to avoid them.
nice looking truck, i like that the hood numbers are still visible.
