They made winch versions of every truck.. I have the numbers of each out in the shop including the Canadian truck..
I would say yes on the 4:89's and the 251.. It is a much better engine and can take more R's. Its diffucult to go back to a 230 for a short time but I dont have a choice...

You nailed most of the differences that I know of.. I have been told that the input shaft on the ACME trans. is bigger? So this would mean different clutch,throw out bearing I think.. I will know more when I swap out a bad 251 for a temp 230 heart here real soon and post what I find...

Looks good. I was just over at a guys house that has a very nice M725 front with no rust and straight. He could cut the floor out and probaly get it to you. Let me know if you want it he is going to scrap the body.

Now if you want to bank on some repro goods. How about winch extentions and side mounting brackets for the deuce and 5 ton.

Just wanted to ad.. If you keep momma bear with her own to drive she is happy and then poppa bear is happy.. I am just glad she wants to even have her own and enjoys riding along with me.. A M37 and a deuce are just to much for her little arms to turn without power steering. Those little Pinz...
