I think most of them were painted OD during the war.. Atleast some of the photos in color are OD, later ones are a toss up, a few yellow, and some red..

I am also looking for manuals and information on the International Harvester IGC U-21 engine. This is the engine that runs the snowbower unit itself. Its a 1940's overhead cam engine... The truck is a Ford with a Marmon-Harrington 4x4 unit and a V8 flathead Ford engine.
I didnt think it was real either!! Very, very nice truck.. Who did the resto? He has patience and skills not found in my garage.. I am speechless now.. Well I will have to wonder back out to the garage and dream of doing one that nice..

Just downloaded the TM specific for the Pioneer trailers both big and small from papercu.. Very interesting. Most had the generator like you said just inside the rear doors. Skill saw, hammer drill,gas powered cut off saw, lots of stuff. Very cool.
