    Beadlocks for 16.00's

The Hutchinson beadlock part number is B3040 for 16r20 tires... they are the metal strip with rubber on both edges...The Hutchinson part number for 14r20 tires is: D4539-3 ...It is common for a 16" tire to be mounted with a 14" beadlock but it is WAY tight and is a lot of stress on the lugs and...

    Manual ctis

I built a manual system by getting an air manifold log and plug it into the front glad hand, running two main lines (one down each side of the truck) with an air chuck outlet at each tire. I have a main regulator on the front where it comes off the gladhand and I use clip on airchucks so its a...

    Appels Bobbed M932/930 dump truck

What did you do to solve the drive shaft issue? I'm headed down the bob road for my M930 to eliminate the third axle/fuel sticker hassles...is it better easier to alter the short drive shaft or shorten a M923 drive shaft? Any chance the M923 fits the short wheelbase bob trucks as is?

    Custom bumpers

Even though our bumpers came out of the same crate...yours has the studs on the front to mount that placard whereas mine didn't...both were factory new and the same NSN...the cage codes were different so I'm thinking one was a later build and the difference was a design change...did you see the...

The birth of a Parts truck

From my experience with these type of test the hardest thing would be picking up the pieces...you will need some hiking boots and a bag lunch since I've seen some pieces as far as 2000 ft away...that was our standoff distance and it wasn't far enough to keep one piece from whistling by like a...

The birth of a Parts truck

Oh I definitely agree with you since I used to do that kinda work as an AFOSI tech agent... but it is a testament to the speed of the impact that the nose cone is piercing the glass instead of breaking it, and the fraction of time to capture that is impressive...I've had to film special events...

The birth of a Parts truck

I thought it was cool how the photo caught the nose cone of the GBU just as it was piercing the side window...

The birth of a Parts truck

I was going thru some of my military photos and thought someone here might be interested in a photo of how a parts truck is created... An inert 2,000-pound laser-guided bomb strikes its target after being launched from an altitude of 4,000 feet, 1977.

    Custom bumpers

Hey, I resemble that quote! Instead of bumpers, I'm thinking of fitting pontoons on my truck...we've had 2 weeks of straight rain, and now with this hurricane inbound, they are predicting 10" of rain in 24hrs...I literally can't move my truck from where it's parked without trenching my front...

    Michelin XZL

Easy way to tell in a photo is look at the distance BETWEEN the two rear tires...14x20 will have a gap of about 4 inches...53's will be alot closer...maybe 1.5-2 inches...makes for a good step when you are climbing the side...
