I pulled my manifold heater off and replaced it with a Kitts ether injector. I think that is a great upgrade and not too expensive either. or ether. :D
1. It should not rev over the max RPM. I would leave it alone.
2. Cool down is very important. The oil will coke if shut down in a hot turbo. A short trip just use your judgement.
3. There are several stencil places. I prefer paint masks for a sharper look. These can be ordered as a...
The second thread Clinto mentioned above is my crane. I went out and checked and it is 60 inches from the rail to floor, and the chainfall takes 17 inches. So you can lift from about 20 inches up to about 40. I don't have my MEP here to check it but I bet it is too tall.
Put some biocide in the tank when you get it cleaned out. You have algae. I had it in my CUCV and not only did it pool in the fuel tank it clogged up the lines and pump with the red clay. I put a pic of it up here somewhere, I will see if I can find it.
Found them. One is a pop bottle with...
New airpac, bled brakes, new passenger seat cover (thanks to Jatonka!) to cover up where the mouse ate, and most important of all, installed my new cupholder.
Don't feel too bad. I am over in Bluefield and my deuce is dead in the driveway. Just have to put an airpac on and bleed it, I have the airpac just don't have a "round toit" available. Have to get it done soon as it is due in a parade soon, and I think I should have brakes before I go over...
100% rain today. Can you just get a trailer and pull her home till better weather and conditions? It is straight forward but not a simple road side job in my opinion.
Anyway, good luck on it! Hope it all goes well for you- you deserve a break today. :driver:
I could be wrong but that leak does not matter at all. In my A2 with air assist steering those hoses do not exist and when I turn I get a real cool "whoosh". I am betting you can either tape that hole closed or just cut the hose in two and seal off the part going to the air cleaner.
I had the exact same problem, started out very rarely, became worse over time until it took about 5 minutes to build air at start up, then I still could not drive as turning the wheel set off the buzzer. Did the air tool oil routine, no joy.
Finally I went under the truck with a hammer...
Rvnlrrp, welcome to the site. The drivers side rear air line for the trailer is not active till you push the brake pedal, and even then there is a quarter turn valve behind the gladhand. The passenger side gladhand should have 100 to 120 psi all the time the air system is up.
The CTIS just has...
