Folks,
I've done an exhausted search on the Protective Control Box and could not find if any has (or had one) rebuilt for the 900 series 5 tons???
Phil and I have a "toasted" one and opened it up to find out today that either a diode or resister (or both) somehow fried itself. It doesn't look...
Phil has installed the rear axle, no problems as the M105 axle set was a perfect fit and doesn't interfere with the air cans. He plans to beef up the springs with a spring-over set.
I had no problem registering my bobbed deuce using antique plates. I called it an AM General Pickup! I sold it to a friend and now he has farm plates on it. You will need to have the DMV or your local police out to do a VIN verification also. I plan on registering my bobbed 1985 M931 as an...

Thanks Matt, but all the credit goes to Phil, I have been laid up the last few weeks. He puts the ever-ready energizer bunny to shame! No pun intended on Easter Sunday!!!!!
My buddy Phil has started the Bob project. See the pics. Tandem axle/wheels removed and spring set installed. Any suggestions on how to reconnect the ABS brake system guys?
Thanks!
