    HMMWV Humvee M1123 Build Thread

So for the fuel system I heard different things from different people but I didn’t want to take any chances with anything that wasn’t sufficient so I used Aeromotive Phantom 340 Apex 450 with regulator and filter. After it was all said and done the fuel system listed above plus the tank and...

    Midwest Military Equipment Gauges

I have not but those appear to be Speedhut gauges. They have options just for Hummer Humvee. Check out their site.

    HMMWV Humvee M1123 Build Thread

The other gauges I had weren’t compatible with the motor so I returned them and got speedhut gauges. Before I took apart the dash I sat in the correct seat and traced where the steering wheel was on the dash so today I’m laying out the locations and drilling the holes. Getting ready to prep...

    HMMWV Humvee M1123 Build Thread

The geared hubs, wow, what a bucket of fun that was. I’ll try to remember all the things I hoped to pass along. There’s almost no information on the interweb about how to break them all down. I tried several methods to get the spindle bearings off and it boiled down to cut it off with a...

    Ball Joint Boots

I tore a boot on a brand new ball joint and I'd like to replace just the boot. I've seen Energy suspension makes them but I can't tell if it fits the heavy duty A2 ball joints or not. Does anyone know or know of another company that makes a A2 ball joint boot? Thank you

    Spindle / Spindle Nut Question

The nut threads down onto the spindle all the way except for one thread from reaching the tab washer. I have not forced it on. I have inspected the thread with a magnifying glass and there’s no visible damage down there. I was going to buy a thread die and run over it but no one knows the...

    Spindle / Spindle Nut Question

There’s A LOT of talk about spindle nuts variations but no where does anyone I can find mention on their product or in the manuals about the thread size and pitch. I need to buy a die and chase my threads. Does anyone know the thread pitch size for the spindle

    Geared hub question

OK thanks. I thought so but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something and have to take it all apart.

    Geared hub question

Anyone? It's the tiny clip and seal inside the steering bracket that bolts onto the geared hub and fits over the spindle extension.

    Geared hub question

I’m not using CTIS and the seal parts were kind of expensive so I didn’t buy them. Mine are damaged so can I remove the ring clip and seal and leave them out or do they perform some other function? Thank you

Personally I’m replacing mine with a 39” Borla from a trophy truck but now I see why you never responded hahaha 😂
