So I did a LOT of research to figure the best paint job I would like on this thing and what I came up with was satin finish on the body and outer metal parts like bumpers and cage and glossy black on the chassis and suspension parts. There's really no good way to use automotive paint to get...
Yeah I took my system apart several months ago and I have a lot going on so I don't remember what it looked like. Some of it was missing also. Thank you
Hey RWH, do you have any information about your kit or any opinion on the Ebay one listed above? I need some. I've seen someone else post about a braided kit they had made too.

I've heard rumors a lot about galvanic corrosion but unless you're in saltwater I've never seen it be a problem. It's not just stainless to aluminum, it's dissimilar metals which there is a ton of already on every vehicle. Every aluminum engine and head and differential on cars is held...
Oh sorry, I get it. I thought you were talking about that prop shaft bearing mounted between the t/c and the diff. Your talking about the actual t/c shaft
The internals and bearings on the diffs were in great shape so I just painted them and replaced all the seals. I used stainless bolts for the covers. On YouTube they preach PVC tool for replacing seals and it does work for output side but that black input tool in the maintenance kit seems...
It shouldn’t take 5,000 pages to be a service manual for a vehicle. The wasted space in these manuals with over complex numbers and descriptions is exactly what I would expect from our government. In a place where all it needs to say is 5/8”-11 bolt 4.5” long there’s a paragraph of nonsense.
I have both my differentials laying on the ground ready to put back on vehicle but I don't know which is which. 2004 M1123 A2. When I took them off I thought they were interchangeable but I marked them anyway and now that they're painted they're not marked anymore. Can they be put in either...
Thank you, that's good to know. Maybe I do need the 30's because my vehicle is completely stripped to frame right now. I was looking for all the technical info about hub rebuilds and brake caliper rebuilds and such
OK, I think I got it figured out, Thank you. I needed two more for the complete set I think and I got them from Amazon too. The 387 ones were for a different model
