Don't worry I have had them for months and just finally got around to it. Sometimes life just gets in the way and the truck projects just sit. Next is some paint work on the bed and install my knuckle crane that I have had for 2 years now.
Got around to installing my electric control valves for the hydraulics that way I have my winch control, dump bed, knuckle crane (needs installed) and an auxiliary line. I wanted to run everything off the trucks PTO. I have two more custom switches coming
Ok thanks guys. I like the higher top speed of them and the look. I was hoping a few more people had been running them. Now to decide wether or not to sell my 14.00 and buy some 395s.
I had the same question years ago. I went with m932a2 and but a bed on it. I also have my CDL so I can't comment on that but I am glad I went with the a2 series 5 ton. Power steering, automatic, super single and a 8.3 that's decent on fuel and easy to turn up the power.
I have a m932a2 with a short bed it has Michelin xzl 14.00s. They are in great shape with 2012 date code. But I have been thinking of switching to 395 Goodyear mvt tires. I use the truck mostly on highway and dirt roads no mudding for me. It just seems the goodyears would have better highway...
I would say it has to do with battery box brackets as they are longer coming down to accommodate for the bigger battery box. The easiest thing would probably be modify the valve bracket to work or fab up a new one to mount the valve because I don't think the hoses will give enough to move the...
Try unhooking you control valve and clean the selector shaft up and work it in and out with pliers or something with the motor off. If it frees up try hooking everything back up and try it. Mine did the same thing and it was the control valve not moving far enough.
No actually I have a 25 gallon tank mounted in behind drivers side step and custom air filter setup. Reason for that is I use truck PTO for the winch and bed and I also have an additional lines for rear mounted winch and knuckle crane that are not yet installed.
You can see where I cut mine (shine spot in between the two center hinges). I took 4 feet out. I wanted to keep 4 hinges on each side. I also went with this size because I made it into a dump bed and got right amount of overhang on the bed.
Hi as far I as know there is no adjustment on the braking on a m1061a1 most guys leave them unhooked empty and only use trailer brakes when they are loaded. They have a tendency to lock the wheels up unloaded.
The only difference I know is the way it mounts in the cab. The cables are the same length on both. The A2 mounts over top of the ctis valve on the floor where the A1 mounts to the side of the shifter column.
The windows have adjustable stops on them front and rear if you take the door panel off. They may need adjusted if you went from a soft top to hard top.
