    Transmission help

I work in nashvegas, drink in the village live outside of nashville. You can get gears on line or head down to 4 wheel parts on nolensville rd, talk to eric. They can get just about anything. Lower gear higher speed but less pulling. you wont want to run oversize tires either. 3.73 would...

    Transmission help

welcome to the site!!! Westech is right about the gear changing in the axles. You can lift and run a bigger tire but your def not going to get close on your speed even with a 37" tire. Where in nashville are you? Just saw your map, I know exactly where you are

Front wheel delaying my trip to SSGR

So as I was headed over to my buddy's to grab some extra gear for my trip to SSGR. Noticed a funny noise and what felt almost like a tire had started to come apart. I have just finished my lift and tires and have been trying to work out any kinks in the system before making the 6hr drive...

    Air Vent, Whats it for

sounds like it would be something with the tanks. If you are losing pressure quickly after shut down, it could be as simple as a loose fitting or it could be the line is ruptured. As the truck is running so is the compressor so it will continue to feed the tanks but could also cause premature...

    new with a bobbed deuce

The CAT 3116 is a nice engine with it's own little issues. Change all filters and keep extras with you. The one with the "bowl" if equipped is a water seperator. You can change these filters out to but do not throw away the bowl off the bottom of this filter it can be reused. Change air...

    Warn PN64402 or Powerplant on 84 M1009

Forgot to put this on my last post. I think warn could supply you with fiber cable or atleast recomend you to a good replacement. There are all sorts of suitable replacements. The power plant is a good choice especially for the simple fact you are killing two birds with one stone. Air needs...

    Warn PN64402 or Powerplant on 84 M1009

You can use a locking hitch pin if you keep it on there. Otherwise just take it off and store it, but these set ups are heavy and cumbersome. Warn sells the power cables you can run to the back and the front.

    I'm Lurking!

welcome to the site!!! Got into the cucv not long ago. Mainly because it was due to my broken foot and not being able to use a clutch with my cast. I love them for what I use them for. The M1008 is a great truck for work. Just picked up a m1009 for other plans and I have a addiction. These...

just a thought on the winch rating. I use winchs of all kinds on our trucks for work, smallest we have is a 12,000 rear mount winch on the back of one of our trucks, it is also a worm gear winch. We run hydraulic and electric. You had stated in i believe your first post about the line pull...
