    Deuce mounted generator

Thanks for the replies. I suppose it would be the same as using a trailer mounter generator and feeding your building through 2 NEMA 14-50R electrical receptacles, one at the truck end and one on the outside of the building, fed thru and wired into the transfer switch( I do have that installed...

I was thinking about installing a diesel genset like this http://www.generatorsales.com/order/1250TS.asp?page=1250TS in the bed of my deuce and feed it off of the 2 fuel tanks on the truck in case of a power outage at my home or cabin. Also installing a 50a box like this on the bed inside...

    Tired of fighting the hood!

Nice kit. I know what you had to go through to design them as I did mine in 2011. Work great and here's a link http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?76058-Deuce-hood-weight

    Maryland tags,title,registration

Do I have this right. A 5 ton older than 25 years is not a problem at all. Historic tags, no inspection and no cdl. A 5 ton newer than 25 years needs to be inspected and if under 26000GVW no cdl required and tagged and insured commercial. Does the BMY-Harsco name cause a problem at the dmv?.

    Drag link removal

OK. You are a turn off center. Take loose the steering arm end and point the steering arm @ 12 o'clock towards the passenger side tire. Now go to the pitman arm and by hand point it straight down to 6 o'clock. Connect the draglink WITHOUT moving either the pitman or steering arm and you will...
