I've found the tanks extremely difficult to clean so I replaced mine on all three gens with a 5 gal plastic container from Goo Goo car wash. They will give them to you for the asking. They are excellent for many uses. No rust.

Are all three fuel pumps the same p/n and can the aux pump (which I never use) be substituted for one of the other two? Thanks for your response

Have 3 MEP-003a, only 2 will run . They are tempermental at best. One will run when it finally starts for 1 or 2 minutes then it shuts down and will not restart until the next day. I installed new injectors and new injector pump to no avail. Have over 3k invested in it. The other one would...

Not concerned about the hitch. I`m concerned about DOT and their portable scales they carry around with them. My trailer grosses out at 60K..... Have a class A , so the tag limits my legal load. Thanks

Concerning loads, how heavy is the tag you are installing on your truck? Just installed a 30,000 lb tag on mine. Max load is 31,600 on my 923. Trailer tongue weight will load it down when moving a 45,000 lb dozer. DOT has no mercy if you exceed the tag weight limit in Ga. A CDL is also required.

I found what looks like the accessory drive area on front of the engine in JATONKA`s TM TM9-2320-272-24P-1, Fig 44 page 44 thru 44-3. Only seal listed is pn 211255, cage 15434. Would like to hear from someone who has actually performed this procedure. Thanks

Thanks, You make it sound easy. I can imagine I`ll need some special pullers for pulling the seal out, like do I drill holes in the seal to jerk it out or is this procedure explained in one of the TM`s. Just glad it is doable w/o removing the gearcover. Thanks
