M-Series Wiring Harness Connector Help Needed

Hey Jason, I am currently building a couple of electronic devices with m-series connectors and it is incredibly difficult. There are so many styles, sizes and pin arrangements, it's almost impossible to find exactly the one you need. You'll find that your basically going to have to become an...

Official 2018 Ga. Military Vehicle Rally info thread. Oct. 17-21, 2018

This year will be very similar to last year’s event, obviously the date is 2018 specific. So if you’ve been in the last few years, you probably know what you need to know. We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our 2018 sponsor, Memphis Equipment, for their assistance. Without them...

3 1/4" (I think, gotta' check again and I'm not at home) and probably 2" deeper than a standard axle nut socket

    Halftrack axle nut sockets..............

So they WWII halftrack takes two different axle nuts, serviced by one 2-sized socket. The front one, you can't use a modern civvy one because the axle stub sticks out too far. The socket bottoms out before you get onto the nut. Is there a way around this? Do one of you have an original...

    4 cyl M-series waterproof distributor caps (M38, M38A1, M151, L-head, F-head, etc.)

I bought one from George Bazter @ Army Jeep Parts. Supposedly they test fit them before shipping and mine did have a date hand written on it from a few months ago that said they'd tested it. I asked them if they tested them for functionality or fit and I don't think the person I was talking to...

Bobbed Deuce, missing air brake lines

I recently went thought this. Friend's bobbed deuce had the rear brake line capped and both of the rear air lines capped. People are lazy. He asked me to fix it. Remove the bed Service is the drivers side, emergency is the right. They use different size pipe, one is larger than the...

    M54A2 bleeder screw size?

The bleeder screw is 7/16"? You know the studs, nuts and bolts on the top of the M44 series knuckle (that hold the steering arm to the knuckle) are 9/16"?

M2A1 half track parking brake release button- sources for buttons?

Ah, the part I'm looking at on the range lever is the steel insert from the plastic knob! Thanks Don't make that offer, I might come down there just to look at your M108A2 progress. Need both the transfer knobs (X2) and the parking brake push button, which I don't think your 37 will have.

M2A1 half track parking brake release button- sources for buttons?

Didn't even notice this initially, but both the transfer case levers are missing knobs. Range and front axle engagement. Look like the front axle is threaded, was the range originally threaded? My release rod is threaded-has this been modified? No, I'll talk to a friend who has an M37...

    New PT-76 Acquisition

So how does Eastern block stuff compare to ours of similar vintage? You know, you always hear people say stuff like Russian stuff is simple, designed to be fixed with hammers but you also hear everyone and their brother (who've never driven one) say that Porsche 930's will immediately change...

M2A1 half track parking brake release button- sources for buttons?

I need a button for the parking brake handle. There's a threaded rod, looks to be a 1/4" course thread. The button screws on to the top of that and you push down on it with your thumb when you want to release the brake. All this one has is a nut. I called Gary Hebding, who is the king of...

HF54 power steering for my M35A2

I have a friend with a pretty basic deuce (no winch, no dropside, ND tires, etc.) and he likes 24087 and I keep sending him pictures of this truck saying "You could be this cool!" So far, it had not moved him to action :(

Oh boy fun starts here can anyone help identify?

It's some kind of WWII Dodge WC (Weapons Carrier) but they didn't build any closed cab crewcabs to my knowledge. They did build command cars but they were open cab.

M38 / M38A1 civilian cross reference? Wheel cylinders?

I think 16535 is what I found, along with another number. Apparently they're the same 3/4" bore and one has a 7/16" brake line and one has a 3/8". Gonna' order one tomorrow. Also, this is supposed to be good but I wonder how up to date it is...

    M939 Winter Storage

I understand why many collectors of special interest vehicles (be they a '65 Mustang or a military vehicle) "put them to bed" in the winter. In places up North, where winters are more severe, there is more chance of traffic accidents and corrosion is an issue, both in terms of anti-snow and...
