I think i am going to make a command decision. Since i have a blower for my garden tractor i think i will remove it and the isolation control system and put it up for sale- i guess when i sell it i will come across a good deal for the rest of the parts needed to make it all work
Greeting everyone!! I need to ask for some assistance or confirmation- I have a M1028A that came from Minnesota, it came equipped with a quick attach plow bracket, I think it is made by Fisher but there is nothing on it saying that it is, all the other trucks that did have plows from that group...
A produce known as Frost King purchased from Menards is almost as good as the Dyna-matt product at a fraction of the cost found in the HVAC department. 12 in roll x 20 feet I think for $19.95 - it has served me well!

You should just buy a new air governor, they are so cheap it does not make any sense to fool with them - in the past i have tried to re-adjust them only to replace in a month or so when they revert back to unacceptable antics. Short story- service your air system annaully which should include...
Large cable to be powered all the time regardless of key position - voltage to be 24 volts. On my m1028 which is the same as yours if the starter is 24 volt there is a jumper cable the goes between the two batteries that privides the link to go up from 12 to 24 volts. Mine had a loose - dirty...
just asking if the presence of 24 volts on the solinoid has been confirmed? Many times we get ahead of ourselves and miss the obvious - myself included. I had something similar going on and it was just a loose connection between the two batteries that provided 24 volts to the starter. Just my $.02
Thanks for the info- I am a fan of using the brain, it is our best tool! This is also my SOP when aligning transmissions when replacing a clutch- we must be brothers!
Everything is tight- no gaps between the engine/trans. No scraping inside the torque converter cavity and torque converter bolts tight to the flex plate- very easy to pry the ring gear rearward and see movement in the gear but no movement in what I can see of the crankshaft.
In my experience the Petronix unit is more suseptable failure than the other products on the market. My first choice would be the Crane. In my British car i have a distributor made by "123" which looks like a Bosh distributor. It is a bit pricy but i feel it is well worth the cost. I think they...
The noise from under the hood of my M1028 has doubled in the last day, got underneath to inspect all items that rotate. I beleive the flex plate is broken/cracked- very easy to pry the ring gear rearward and see movement. Disassembly will reveil the problem. I remember reading about others...
