    M35a2 Transmission Input Shaft Leak

Hi Gimpy. I think I do understand what MAY be going on in there, but I don't know why it would just suddenly start leaking. Maybe you are right, and it is just the August heat causing it. I have been driving the truck around quite a bit in the warm weather, and it wasn't leaking before. But...

    M35a2 Transmission Input Shaft Leak

Hi guys. It isn't a vent issue. I have run the transfer case and transmission vents to the firewall, with a 1/4" line to breath with. My transfer case was actually puking oil out of the vent area, because it was so loose. This is the most helpful thread I found, in my searching...

    M35a2 Transmission Input Shaft Leak

It appears to be a slow drip. Ill probably just live with it for a while as is. Clutch isnt slipping. I just loaded it up and drove it over a mountain and it was fine. Leaks still, but ok. I found some helpful threads with pictures I will link them here .

    M35a2 Transmission Input Shaft Leak

Hi guys. Thanks for the replies. So i got up early today and clean out in the bellhousing. Oily mess. Checked the bolts. All tight. Took it out for a drive again. The pictures tell the story. I am getting a trickle of oil down the trans from the input shaft. You can see it in the picture. The...

    M35a2 Transmission Input Shaft Leak

New day, new leaks. I am getting a leak out of the transmission input, in the bell housing. I have read all of the threads here. I have read the TM. Many people suggest lowering the oil level to an inch below the fill plug. I will entertain that concept if I can't determine the real cause...

So, what's the one thing you'd change?

Thank you for addressing the blanket statement, "Check the TM", in another thread.

    My filtration system

Thank you for this descriptive write up. So what color is the end product, assuming you settle out the carbon from the WMO? Does it look like clean motor oil? I am still trying to figure out my final configuration.

    Dual Circuit Brake Engineering Thread

The master and bracket are direct bolt in. You will have to run quite a bit of new hydraulic and air lines to split the system from a single to a dual.

Is it just the two of us?

    Dual Circuit Brake Engineering Thread

Is there a group order discount? If there isnt, and it is just you and me paying full price, then I will just delay my order off to when I actually need it.

    I want a shorter deuce

I test drove this one. Opted for the longer bed though, as I wanted the 12 footer. This was $13k asking, which was steep. It came from someone in cali that regularly restores army vehicles.

Brake fluid in the wrong place

So whats worst case scenerio? It fills the air cylinder and you have no air assist, but still have hydraulic?

Brake fluid in the wrong place

Good to know that it doesnt lead to catastrophic failure, in case I do need my truck in the mean time.

Brake fluid in the wrong place

My airpack is doing the same. Leaking a bit out the back, at the same spot. You are ok driving it like that? I am unsure and have parked mine until my kit comes in.

    Run Flats on a3 wheels?

I went with the beadlocks over the runflats for my a3 wheels. Just from a service stand point. But with that said, I really dont think that the one inch difference will be the make or break for use on the a3 wheel vs the mrap. Remember, everyone used to say that you couldnt use the 395s on...
