the drums dont look that bad. there are a few parts that are rubbed deeper than others. but nothing really that would keep it from doing its job. it just needs a good cleaning to it.

seeing as i have an extra steering and non steering axle that i was going to use for another build. and since i was going to take those brakes off that will save me a little bit of money. i got all new seals so now i just have to get a few bearings.

here are some pics of the bearings the i pulled out of it before the rain and the heat stopped me. the outer one looks newer but the inner one i am thinking it is needing to be replaced.

Are the air lines still hooked up on the trailer? If so you can use air actuators to move it up and down once you are in position. That is if you are pulling it behind a deuce or another vehicle that supplies air. If not you have the options to use elecctric actuators as well.

Are you planning on blasting all the paint off to bare metal? Or just going to blast the rust off and paint over the carc?

Once you buy one they just seem to multiply like rabbits. But that isnt such a bad thing.

I would also suggest a few cargo straps as well as a just in case thing.

the dents you should be able to pop back out with a little persuasion. about the crack i would say it should get welded and the ground smooth to match the contour.
