What did you have to fab for brackets to make it work? Did you reuse the stock pulley?

Ok got the news from the alternator shop. Needs to be rewound, I told them not to bother. Looks like I am going with some kind of alternative. But the ones I saw listed in here were for the Multi-Fuel. Anyone know of one for the Cat? Doesn't the tach get its signal from the alternator?

Never smelled it go and never saw any smoke. I actually hope it is the batteries but I'm sure they are a pretty penny. Haven't bothered to look those up yet

Front battery at 100% and 1400cca we will see if it holds. The rear on the charger at 34% 1500cca. Once the Batts are at 100% I will hook them up and crank her up and see if the alternator does anything. If not it's getting removed and sent to the alternator shop to be rebuilt. Hopefully...

I have a battery charger with a 10amp charge on the front will switch to rear after its done

I just tested the batteries. Rear tested at 1400cca the front 210cca both had 0% charge

Pretty sure my alternator decided to stop alternating on my last outing. Went to crank it up this morning and didn't have enough juice to turn it over fast enough to get her rolling. I put a battery charger on the front battery and VROOM she cranked up and ran. Across the batteries I am reading...
