Why list an item with no price?

I used Microsoft Paint to resize pictures for the classified ads. You can press Ctrl+w or under image select resize/skew. It took me a little bit to get the size I needed, but got it to work. After I got the hang of it, it was a lot quicker next time around.

    Motor let loose this AM!

Sorry to hear about your problem. How many miles you have on it? How fast was you driving? I'll guess maybe a sheared camshaft key?

    700R4 TV cable bracket

It is located on the back of the engine on the driver's side head, behind the intake. Be sure to grab the rod that goes with it. Maybe even the cable because they are different from the gasser version.

    Help!!! Is this serious??

Appear to be normal. Heres two more front timing covers to add to the list that have them. Your leak could be a water pump bolt that needs some sealer on it.

Is this the right starter for my M1009 CUCV?

Even worse, it can break off starter bolts in the block and even break the block. DO NOT TRY STARTING ANYMORE UNTIL YOU GET A BRACKET! Glad you found your problem.

Is this the right starter for my M1009 CUCV?

I was thinking the same thing. The starter gear in the pic looks a little chewed up. Also, make sure that starter support bracket is in place.

    Help with 6.2 L Genset

You have a GM 6.2 diesel in there powering a generator? I would like to see pics of that.

    Click click BOOM!

Sorry to hear about your engine. Maybe it can be salvaged. I always cringe when I read people using ether on diesels. I read and saw pics where a guy grenaded his Duramax using ether. I think it was good of you posting your experience, maybe it will detour other people from using ether and...

    CUCV Diesel Swap

I thought they were 6 volt? I hooked a hot wire to one outside the engine and noticed it heated up faster than a 12 volt from a 350 diesel.

    CUCV Diesel Swap

Depends on the manifolds you have. I know that an exhaust from a certain set of gas manifolds will bolt up to a certain set of 6.2 diesel manifolds. I did it once. The small block manifolds I think were from late 70's early 80's. The 6.2 manifolds were from an 80's pickup which were the same on...

    m1009 brakes are locked up.

Should be a knockout at the bottom of the backing plate also. It actually pulls out. Can you turn the drum forwards and backwards?

    m1009 brakes are locked up.

Parking brake left on? Had trouble getting drum off once, but it was stuck on the hub. I soaked it good with oil and worked it back and forth with a pry bar in between the drum and backing plate. Work my way around in a complete circle, eventually got it loose. when I put the drums back on I put...
