    Military/J-Code Heads?

Thought I seen some where the castings are the same. The pre-combustion chamber cup openings were different sizes.

update on my engine swap. Water in new engine crank case :(

:ditto: The CDR being clean is probably a good sign and just water from a pressure washer getting in the motor. It is still a lot of work changing motors so I would make sure I had a good one from the start. Was it antifreeze in the oil? Was the oil and coolant mixed together?

Its possible for them to leak into the oil pan. I take it that your leak appeared in between the...

I have coolant leaking into the crank case some how

Doesn't sound good. I would defiantly rule out the oil cooler by bypassing it, or you can take it to a radiator shop and have them pressure test it. Also could be your timing chain cover, water pump and bolts. Did you replace the radiator before you redid your heads?

    lift pump piston question

I found it easier to remove the 2 10mm bolts and remove the plate. Then the rod will slide out. I covered mine in grease to keep it in the motor when putting the plate and lift pump back on.

    Fuel Pump?

Yes. I found this to be my problem. I even took the fuel filter base inlet hose loose and poured fuel down it, then reattached. Then cranked, open bleeder screw released air pressure. Closed bleeder screw then cranked again, finally had fuel came out after a couple of cranks. Here are some pics...

    Radiator on the cheap?

Ebay had a cheap radiator for the 6.2 diesel. Have you tried your local auto parts store? There are also members parting out CUCVs in the classifieds.
